Murder Toll T&T January-September 2023

The third quarter of 2023 registered a murder toll of 167 a decrease of 16 in 2023 compared to the 2022 third quarter total of 183. For the three quarters of 2023 the murder toll is 454 compared to 436 in 2022. The question now is if this month on month decline will continue in the 4th quarter of 2023? in September 2023 the strategy to destabilize the social order in specific spaces of Trinidad and Tobago was again unleashed. This strategy was unleashed in 2022 which ratcheted up the murder toll but failed to prevent the loss of turf and a new order established on the ground in these spaces. The 3rd quarter of 2023 witnessed the slowing down of the comparative murder toll with 2022 but this slowing down was muted in September particularly by weekend murder sprees dominated by multiple killings in single incidents of aggression. In October 2023 the push back flowed simultaneously with evidence in October in the public domain of yet another attempt to arm a militia in T&T with the firepower to attack institutions of the national security apparatus as the prisons. You simply don’t arm a militia with weapons as those interdicted by the TTPS to fight a turf war already lost on the ground. The minimal strategic reality is that the prisons are targeted for destabilization. Further evidence is now public information on the menu and volume of synthetic drugs now available in T&T for sale. The supply side of the illicit drug market in T&T has changed forever whilst we have politicians focusing on ganja use and addiction, mouthing massa myth of ganja addiction. Another example of the inability of the politics of race to be real, again voting for policing as social control by once again riding the ganja jackass that cannot bray. The interdiction of molded plastic fuel barrels containing diesel fuel sourced in T&T and a Colombian Kush stash in the SW peninsula of Trinidad has been explained as a diesel fuel for ganja pipeline from Colombia through Venezuela to T&T. This is an operation where the tributaries and the main course of the Orinoco river are used to move the product from Colombia through Venezuela to T&T. The diesel fuel is smuggled to the Delta then to the illicit gold, diamond and coltan mines of Bolivar and Amazonas states of Venezuela. Colombia has no fuel shortage but those connected to the Colombian paramilitary organizations running the illegal mining operations and the smuggling of product from Venezuela does. In addition to ganja, cocaine, heroin and synthetic drugs enter T&T, more importantly illicit gold, diamonds and coltan also enter T&T for smuggling to end use countries. Valuable illegal animal parts also flow along this pipeline into T&T export to international ens users. This is but another snap shot of what is transnational organized crime in T&T and how it drives crimelandia, gunlandia and Gangland T&T. Hope the crime talks of the politics of race grapple with this reality not the usual gang gang talk. Note another stash of material that is used to assault the legitimacy of the state was discovered in Santa Cruz. Do you invest in all this material to NOT use it. Did the dime drop drop on this operation? Pax Mexicana!!! In 2023 we have now moved from the Cleansing to the robbing and mobbing as families, crime families and clans long involved in the Game back to the early days are now home invaded and robbed, rank gone. Another potent indication of how the Game has now changed in T&T forever. Pax Mexicana!!!
